Disney Tips: Best Fireworks Viewing
"Wishes Fireworks"
*Main Street, with the castle in the background. Don't stand too close to the castle as your view of the fireworks will be blocked.
*The bridges between the hub & Tomorrowland & between the hub & Liberty Square, although in these two locations the fireworks won't be behind the castle, they'll be to the side of it. If you are on the bridge to Tomorrowland, Tinkerbell will fly right over you!
*On the beach at the Polynesian or Grand Floridian.
*A great place to watch Wishes and avoid a shoulder to shoulder crowd is in front of Crystal Palace.

Disney Tips: What day is best to visit Disney?
What day of the week is best to visit Disney? We can tell you from experience which day is worst!!!! Try to avoid the Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Mondays. These are the busiest days during peak seasons....What can you do instead? Visit one of the other Orlando theme parks. Remember, most people arrive over the weekend and the first park they want to visit is the Magic Kingdom. Also avoid the water parks on the weekend they are often crowded with the locals visiting as well as vactioners.

Disney Tips: Off the Beaten Path From Disney
There is so much more to do in Florida besides Disney and the surrounding theme parks. There are so many nice nature parks and springs in the area. If you like to bike, snorkel, canoe, kayak or just relax away from the busy parks this is for you.
Located near the town of Longwood about 25 miles north of the theme park area on I-4 you'll find Wekiwa Springs State Park. This park is an oasis of natural beauty. The park offers swimming, snorkeling, hiking, canoeing and so much more. Just think how relaxing it would be to spend a day swimming or snorkeling in crystal clear springs where the water is a refreshing 72 degrees all year round!!

Disney Tips: Cheap Souvenirs
Don't buy expensive souvenirs in the Disny parks. If you can try one of these shops!!There are 2 official Disney Outlets in the Walt Disney World Area (but not on Disney property) which carry discounted/discontinued Disney merchandise. In addition to the Disney Outlets there is other great shopping too!!!**********

Disney Tips!: BABY SWAP
Did you know for parents with children too small to ride a ride you can use the "baby swap" (which is really an "adult swap".)? First, parents and kid(s) all line-up together; Parent A rides first with any older kids, while Parent B stays to one side with baby or under-height kids; once the ride is over, the parents change places, and again one parent rides while the other one waits. There is no need to wait in the line twice!!!

Disney Tips! Can you bring a cooler into the park?
Can you bring a cooler for lunch into Walt Disney World Park?
The answer is YES! You can bring in packed lunches, water, non-alcoholic drinks, snacks etc. NO GLASS containers.
You can have a cooler as long as it is NOT pulled on wheels, it must be soft sided and it can be carried. The cooler or bag can be no larger 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high .
In Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted.

Disney Tips!
Very Important Tip!
The first thing you should do when you buy Walt Disney World tickets is make a photocopy of the reverse side (the side with the magnetic stripe). If you lose your ticket, your only hope of getting it replaced is to have the coded information on the back. The seemingly random numbers, letters and dates you'll see in a couple of locations on the backs of your tickets will help Disney replace the tickets if you lose them. Disney will usually reissue a pass if you can provide that information, though it is not obligated to do so: the tickets state that "Disney is not responsible for misplaced, lost or stolen tickets."
If you buy your tickets at the gate, save the receipt, since that can also be used to look up lost tickets. A receipt from a non-Disney source, such as AAA or a ticket broker, won't have any information that helps with replacing tickets, so it is especially important to make a photocopy if you get your tickets that way.
Even a regular receipt from the Disney Store won't have your ticket numbers on it, though reader Kathy R reports that her local Disney Store gave her a separate receipt with the pass numbers on it. I don't know if all Disney Stores do this. If you don't see a serial number on your receipt that matches the info on the back of your tickets, be sure to make a photocopy.
OR HERE IS A BETTER TIP!!!
Take a photo of your ticket with your cell phone or camera so you have it on you at all times in the event you lose your tickets!!!!
